Pushcart Nomination

I just heard that Prime Number Magazine has nominated a piece of mine for a Pushcart Prize. I am increasingly aware of what makes one literary journal better than another. The bad ones don’t even proofread their work. The good ones, like Prime Number, spend their own (often unpaid) time, promoting the work of the writers in their pages.

The piece that was nominated, “Spring Peepers” is an odd blend of fiction and non-fiction. If you’d care to read it, here’s the link.
